Hemmingsen Drug Store
Marshall, Michigan
Hemmingsen Drug Store has been committed to providing Marshall, Michigan with exceptional care since 1936. Chris and Mindy Munden didn’t think they wanted to own an independent pharmacy initially. However, after some convincing, they took a leap of faith and became the fourth owners of this historic pharmacy. Since taking over in 2012, the Munden’s and their staff have gone above and beyond every day to provide their patients with an increased level of service. They offer a free diabetic test strip program, multi-dose packaging and work with area physicians to find the most cost-effective medication options for their patients. For Hemmingsen’s, it’s simple: Strive to create a wonderful experience for everyone who walks in the door, while always keeping the needs of their patients and community at the forefront.
Jefferson Pharmacy
Palmyra, Virginia
For 26,000 residents in Fluvanna County in Palmyra, Virgina, Jefferson Pharmacy is a friendly neighbor. Patients can get their prescriptions filled anywhere, but they return to Jefferson Pharmacy for the personalized care they receive. The staff goes above and beyond simply dispensing medication by also offering clinical services, health screenings, immunizations, durable medical equipment and so much more. Jefferson provides more than a service to the community; they truly care about every patient that walks through their door. And caring about people is what Jefferson Pharmacy does best.
Lone Star Pharmacy
Santa Fe, Texas
Located about 20 miles outside of the popular coastal town of Galveston, Texas, Santa Fe is home to almost 14,000 residents. Growing up in this small town, Andy McDonald learned the independent pharmacy business the old-fashioned way by working as a delivery driver and cashier at a local store. Eighteen years later, he is still delivering medications but this time for his own pharmacy. Andy and the staff at Lone Star Pharmacy make it their mission to put patients first. Whether it’s filling prescriptions after hours or providing medication at cost to patients who’ve lost their insurance, one thing is clear: at Lone Star Pharmacy, you are more than just a number.  You are family.
