Do I need a passport to go to Jamaica?

All U. S. passengers must have a valid U. S. Passport and must have at least three (3) months before the expiration date for entry into Jamaica; U.S. Passports cannot expire within 90 days of your return flight.

If your passport was submitted more than 10 days ago, you may check the status here.

How long does it take to get my passport?

Normal processing is between 4-6 weeks. For an additional fee, the expedited service takes 1-3 weeks.

Do I have to fly from a specific airport?

No. Please select your preferred airport. If an alternate airport is required, you will be contacted by a Circle K events team member.

Are there any baggage fees?

Yes. The airlines require the following fees per person:

American - First checked bag $30, one carry on free
Delta - First checked bag $30, one carry on free
United - First checked bag $30, one carry on bag free
Southwest – First checked bag $0, one carry on bag free

What is the currency in Jamaica?

The Jamaican currency is called the dollar. The current conversion rate is $1.00 USD = 129 Jamaican dollars. US dollars are widely accepted.

Are credit cards accepted in Jamaica?

All major credit cards are widely accepted. You will find ATM machines distributed throughout the country and in the Secrets Wild Orchid Resort.

Are all meals included?

Yes! While at the Secrets Wild Orchid Resort, all food and drinks are included, including your in-room minibar and 24 hour room service.

Are tips and gratuities included?

All tips and gratuities are included at the hotel and any Circle K sponsored activities. If you receive exceptional service, feel free to tip additionally as you like. Suggestion: Bring smaller bills (tens, fives and ones) as getting change for larger bills is not always easy.

Does the hotel have internet access?

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the resort including your guest room.

Are calls to the US free from my guest room?

No. Secrets Wild Orchid does have a free app that can be downloaded and via the app, calls are free.

Can I bring a child as my guest?

No. All guests must be a minimum of 18 years old.

I have already registered, can I change my guest?

All airline tickets are non transferable once ticketed. You would need to purchase a new airline ticket if your original guest cannot attend.

I have already registered, can I change my excursion?

Yes. You can change your activity by calling the Circle K travel desk at 800.346.1315 or via e-mail. All changes must be received by August 1.

Are there any free activities at the Secrets Wild Orchid Resort?

Yes, play in paradise and enjoy a variety of water sports including snorkeling & kayaking. Enjoy daily activities on the beach and by the pool. Also enjoy a free live show nightly in the theatre.
