CARBON ENGINEERING

Founded in 2009, Carbon Engineering Ltd. (CE) is a Canadian-based clean energy company leading the commercialization of groundbreaking Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology that captures CO₂ directly from the atmosphere. CE’s DAC technology can help address climate change in two major and complementary ways: it can remove CO2 from the atmosphere and deliver large-scale negative emissions by permanently and safely storing the CO2 underground; and additionally, through integration with CE’s AIR TO FUELS™ technology, DAC can also be used to reduce emissions from transportation by converting atmospheric CO2 into ultra-low carbon liquid fuels that can power existing internal combustion engines without any modifications.

The tour will take about 4 hours, including transportation to and from the facility.  Hours are 8:00am - 12:00 pm. Tour will depart from and return to the Vancouver Convention Center.
