Mike Hayford
Chief Executive Officer
 
Mike is Chief Executive Officer of NCR Corporation.

Mike served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Executive Vice President of FIS, Fortune 500’s #1 financial technology company, from 2009 until 2013. As the President and Chief Operating Officer of Metavante Technologies, Inc., Mike led the successful completion of Metavante’s merger with FIS to create the world’s largest financial technology company. Mike was instrumental in building Metavante from a $93 million annual revenue company into the global leader of financial technology with over $6 billion of annual revenue.

Previously, he served as Metavante’s CIO, CFO, head of product development, and head of corporate development, and he led the company’s successful carve-out from a bank holding company and IPO in 2007. During his tenure, Mike led a significant number of acquisitions, public offerings for equity sales and debt raising, and led teams to innovate and build technology.

Mike is a Director of Endurance International Group Holdings, Inc. and has served on the Board of West Bend Mutual Insurance Company, for which he chairs the Audit Committee. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.
Owen Sullivan
President and Chief Operating Officer

As President and COO, Owen is responsible for the successful execution of NCR’s growth strategy across the business units, in addition to overseeing NCR’s functions and operations, including Software, Sales and Services. ​
Since his arrival in 2018, Owen has led the acceleration of NCR’s digital transformation, streamlined operations for increased customer satisfaction and quality, and clearly positioned NCR’s differentiated value as a software and services-led technology provider of choice. He is known for strategy and process thinking, instilling the disciplines, structures and measurements to successfully execute NCR’s business plan. ​
Prior to NCR, Owen has had a distinguished history of executive leadership positions. At ManpowerGroup, a global leader in talent management and workforce, his leadership transformed the company from a traditional staffing business into a Fortune 150 human capital organization. As group president at Metavante, Owen was instrumental in helping the company grow 7X and expand new business lines. Prior to Metavante, Owen’s 14-year career at IBM spanned across sales, sales management and product marketing disciplines. Throughout his career, he has also served as a management consultant with venture capital and private equity groups. ​
 
Owen has served on a variety of corporate and non-profit boards of directors and currently serves on the board of trustees for his alma mater, Marquette University, where he served as chair from 2017-2020.
Tim Oliver
Chief Financial Officer

Timothy C. Oliver is NCR’s Sr. Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial stewardship, compliance, balance sheet management, working with the investor community and partnering with our business units to ensure customer success and profitability.
 
A seasoned corporate finance executive, Oliver brings three decades of experience and a successful record of integrating advanced technologies, transforming portfolios and managing economic uncertainties. Tim has worked in the manufacturing, technology, and software business sectors and brings deep mergers and acquisitions, investor relations and financial planning and accounting expertise to NCR.
 
Most recently Tim was the Chief Financial Officer of Springs Window Fashions. Oliver was responsible for the company's overall financial strategy and updated operations by realigning the reporting structure, implementing and operationalizing new IT tools as part of a broader ERP project and relaunching lender relations efforts to improve transparency.  Tim joined Springs from the Goldstein Group, where he was President and CFO of a private conglomerate comprised of several diverse operating companies and an equity investment portfolio.
 
Prior, Oliver held CFO and other senior-level finance positions with MEMC, Metavante Technologies, Rockwell Automation, and Raytheon. Tim started his career in operational Finance at Allied Signal and was a bond trader at Bear Stearns & Co.
 
He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. and an MBA from the Stern School of Business in New York. He is chairman of the board for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation and is also on the hospital’s Board of Trustees.  Tim also serves as Treasurer of the St. Louis AAA Blues.
David Wilkinson
President and General Manager, NCR Retail

As President and General Manager for Retail, David is responsible for creating and executing NCR’s overall vision and strategy for the Retail industry. He is focused on helping Retailers thrive and deliver on their brand promise in a digital first world by leveraging NCR’s unique software, hardware and services capabilities that run the entire operation from back office to front end. NCR’s solutions accelerate the transformation of Retailers around the world helping them to leverage technology to better serve their customers.
 
Paramount in this is evangelizing NCR’s next-generation retail store architecture that NCR is uniquely equipped to offer to the market. David’s energy and passion coupled with a strong customer focus has created a foundation for success. David has spent his past nine years at NCR in roles in the Retail organization or working closely with the NCR Retail teams. During this tenure, he has held various positions, from leading the Global Retail Sales organization, running the cloud POS start-up within NCR, leading the Emerging Industries team or focusing on NCR’s channel business.
 
With 25-years of experience, David has helped many IT and Telecom companies expand beyond their traditional business models. He has a proven track record of growing existing business models as well as innovating new ones to fill strategic gaps and accelerate profitability. Prior to joining NCR, David held various leadership positions at leading IT and Telecom firms including Avaya, Nortel and Verizon.
 
In addition to his current duties, David is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the NCR Foundation and is a board member for Junior Achievement of Georgia. The goal of the NCR Foundation is to advance technology through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) education in the communities in which NCR employees and customers live and work around the globe.
 
David has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance from Stephen F. Austin and an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. David currently resides in Milton, GA with his wife and daughter.   
Dirk Izzo
President and General Manager, NCR Hospitality

Dirk Izzo serves as President and GM of NCR Hospitality. He is a seasoned leader with experience in building and marketing innovative cloud-based solutions to help clients optimize their business performance.
 
In his current role, Dirk is responsible for developing simple and innovative solutions that run the restaurant from end to end. NCR is the technology provider of choice for restaurants around the world and Dirk is focused on delivering the next-generation software, hardware and services that delivers on what customers want, when they want it.
 
Prior to joining NCR, Dirk spent 19 years with Nielsen in a number of global assignments. He joined Nielsen as a Senior Vice President of Product Management. He also lived in Singapore for three years where he was the Chief Operating Officer of Asia, Middle East and Africa. In his last role, he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager responsible for Nielsen’s technology transformation.
 
Dirk holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and marketing from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, and has served on the boards of the Humanities in Management Institute, The Blade Junior Golf Tournament and the Meyer Center, a school for children with special needs.    
Frank Hauck
President and General Manager, NCR Banking

As President and General Manager of Banking for NCR Corporation, Frank is responsible for developing and driving the successful execution of the vision and strategy for NCR’s banking organization. ​
 
A seasoned leader known for his authenticity and customer engagement, Frank has extensive experience including infrastructure transformation, customer experience, sales and as-a-service solutions. Frank joined NCR in 2018 as the Senior Vice President of Global Financial Services Sales where he led the NCR Banking Sales team to achieve operational excellence, maintain forecast accuracy and revenue maximization, and success in the market.  ​
 
Prior to NCR, Frank served as President, Customers & Markets for Dell EMC’s Infrastructure Solutions Group. In this role, he was the principal liaison between the sales organization and global customers, strategic markets and other external stakeholders to sell solutions worldwide at the highest level. He previously served as President, VCE (Virtual Computing Environment), a division of EMC, driving global operations and customer experience. Frank has held a variety of leadership roles during his career, including finance, customer service, IT, product development, marketing and manufacturing, before moving into sales and organizational leadership roles.  
Ismail Amla
Executive Vice President, Professional Services

Ismail serves as the Executive Vice President responsible for the strategic direction and execution of NCR’s Global Professional Services business. His team is made up of a global network of NCR technologists who deliver technology strategy consulting for the banking, retail and hospitality sectors and technology implementation services covering platform integration, data analytics, AI, cloud, security and customer experience.
 
Prior to his role at NCR, Ismail served as Chief Growth Officer for Capita, headquartered out of the UK.
 
Ismail has also served as Managing Partner for IBM’s Global Business Services in North America, CEO for Capco North America and a senior Partner for Accenture, where he was a member of the Accenture UK leadership team.
 
Ismail is a non-executive board member for Network Rail and UK Sports and has co-authored a book, “From Incremental to Exponential: How Large Companies Can See the Future and Rethink Innovation.”
Adrian Button
Executive Vice President, Product and Service Operations

Adrian Button is the Executive Vice President, Product & Service Operations at NCR. He leads a team of more than 22,000 people, overseeing NCR’s global Hardware, Field Service, Procurement and Engineering operations and working to establish a true “Lean Factory” for the company. Adrian and his team are committed to safely delivering high-quality products and services to our customers on time, backed by an effective and efficient global supply chain.
 
As a part of NCR’s strategic services transformation, Adrian’s team provides 24x7x365 support to customers across 181 countries, responding to the disruptive changes presented by the connected economy in globalization, digitization, consumerism, and technology. Working in close collaboration with NCR’s software solutions group, his team is focused on simplifying and standardizing our offerings and designing and manufacturing solutions that are innovative, digitally connected, easy to service and manufacture.
 
Adrian is known for being a turnaround operational leader. Prior to joining NCR, he oversaw supply chain and services for GE Energy Connections’ Industrial Solutions business as a GE Company officer. As VP of Supply Chain & Services, Adrian managed one of GE’s largest Supply Chain & Services teams with 10,500 employees across 57 sites. His 19-year career at GE spanned multiple businesses and industries and included leadership roles in Supply Chain, Services and Business Management.
 
Adrian graduated from the University of Glamorgan in the United Kingdom with a BEng Honors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was awarded an Honorary Fellowship at the University in 2015.
Don Layden
President, Payments Group & Head of Strategy and M&A
 
As Executive Vice President of NCR’s Payments Group and Head of Strategy and M&A, Don is responsible for NCR’s overarching strategy, including long-term planning, strategic investments, and mergers and acquisitions. He also leads a new NCR business group created after the merger with Cardtronics, responsible for providing end-to-end network and payments solutions.​
 
Before joining NCR, Don served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President and CEO of USA Technologies (CTLP:NASDAQ), the leading provider of integrated software and payments solutions for unattended retail. Don also served as Executive Chairman and previously as Interim CEO of SafetyPay,
a Latin American alternative payments provider, which recently announced its sale to PaySafe (PAY:NASDAQ). ​
 
Don has held executive-level positions with Metavante, Fiserv, and Marshall & Ilsey Corporation. Don has advised venture capital and private equity groups and served as a director of three public companies and several private fintech and payments companies throughout his career.​
 
Don holds a Juris Doctor with honors from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Marquette University. In 2013, Marquette recognized him as its Alumnus of the Year, and in 2015, he was recognized as a Distinguished Eagle Scout. Don serves on several nonprofit boards, including the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties, where he is the incoming chair of the board.
 
He also serves on the board of Alverno College, a federally designated Hispanic serving educational institution, and Consuelo Foundation, dedicated to eliminating and preventing child abuse and neglect in the Philippines and Hawaii.
Patrice Graves
Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer

As CHRO, Patrice Graves is responsible for all aspects of NCR’s global human resources strategy, including talent strategies, employee experience, performance management, leadership development and global workforce rewards, care and wellbeing. Leading the human resources functions globally, she ensures NCR continues to build a culture that attracts, retains and develops the best team to execute our NCR as a Service strategy.
 
With nearly two decades of experience in technology and services, Patrice was most recently Chief People Officer of the Americas at DXC Technology where she was instrumental in developing the workplace of the future and building a culture of innovation. Prior to DXC, her career includes HR leadership roles at AECOM, Raytheon Company and AlliedSignal/Honeywell.
Patrice holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Loyola University of Chicago and an MBA from Indiana University.
Tim Vanderham
Chief Technology Officer

Tim Vanderham is Chief Technology Officer of NCR Corporation, leading NCR’s global Software and Technology organization. His teams include software innovation and software engineering, with more than 3,000 engineers building NCR’s current and next-generation products and solutions.  ​
 
Since joining NCR in July 2018, Tim has increased overall development excellence within the NCR Software and Technology organization through improved processes and modernization of technology used to deliver capabilities to clients. Tim and his team are driving NCR and our customers toward cloud-enabled and cloud-delivered offerings, while innovation teams keep NCR on the cutting-edge of emerging technologies including data analytics, machine learning and distributed ledger technology.  ​
 
Tim most recently served as CTO of the tax and accounting division of Thomson Reuters, where he was responsible for global technology strategy and product delivery. Before Thomson Reuters, he enjoyed an 18-year career with IBM, starting as an undergraduate co-op and eventually becoming vice president of IBM’s cloud platform services, known in the market as IBM Bluemix. Over his 20 years, Tim has spent time working closely with a range of clients ranging from major enterprises to small and medium businesses. He was an executive sponsor for clients at IBM including Aetna, Lloyds Banking Group, Boeing and others.  ​
 
Tim has served in roles spanning development, services and support over his tenure at IBM including enterprise software offerings and working internally and with clients to migrate solutions to a cloud-based “as-a-service” model. Specifically, in his Bluemix role, Tim was a leading and driving force behind the modernization and cloud native initiatives within IBM for its Platform as a Service and developer experience cloud offerings. He leveraged this background during his two years at Thomson Reuters to migrate legacy tax and accounting software to a cloud-based set of services and offerings for tax clients globally.​
 
Tim received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from South Dakota State University.​
Kate Mandrell
Executive Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Operations

Kate Mandrell is EVP, Commercial Strategy & Operations. In her role, she is responsible for accelerating NCR’s as-a-Service strategy, instituting numerous operational changes, which drive cost savings, increase revenue, and improve customer satisfaction.
 
Kate’s team is focused on ensuring NCR prioritizes actions to position itself for lasting market success. Her team partners across all NCR industries and functions to define and execute NCR’s key strategic initiatives, including go-to-market strategy, customer insights, commercial analytics, and global sales operations.
 
Kate is a trusted executive with a demonstrated track record of over-delivering promised business results in large-scale commercial transformations. She is an inspiring leader and problem-solver who is passionate about talent development and team building. Before joining NCR, she was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she built and led executive client partnerships to ensure that strategies and solutions were deployed and adopted to drive sustained impact.
 
Kate serves on the Board of American Jewish Committee’s Access Atlanta, an organization focused on bridge-building and advocating on behalf of critical domestic and global issues the Jewish community faces.
 
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Michael Nelson
Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer

Michael Nelson serves as the Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer at NCR Corporation. He has been with the company since 2016. Michael is an accomplished financial professional with experience on both the buy and sell sides of the investment management business.
 
He began his career as a fixed income trader and portfolio manager before spending ten years as a sell side research analyst covering the technology industry. He received his Bachelor of Science in economics from Cornell University and his Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.
