Poster boards are 8 feet wide by 4 feet tall.
How long do I have to present my talk?
16 minutes for your presentation, 4 minutes for Q&A. (you will get gonged at the 16-min mark!)
Should I bring my own laptop or will there be one provided for me?
You may either present off your own laptop, or we will have a laptop there if you want to bring a thumb drive and load your slides.
What is the dress attire?
Our meetings are business casual, with the graduation/gala event being a bit more formal. We suggest checking out previous years’ photo albums to see what our meetings are like.
May I bring my parents/additional guests?
Fellows may bring one adult guest and their children. While we don’t pay for travel for partners and children, once they arrive, they are invited to partake in all meals and activities you are attending, and are a part of your hotel reservation. Please note that while we try to make this a family-friendly event, we ask that children not attend the presentations.
What portions of the event are open to my kids/family?
Your family is welcome to all activities and meals! While we try to make this a family-friendly event, we ask that children not attend the presentations. If you have any questions, please reach out to
Fellows@packard.org.
Will transportation be provided to/from the airport?
We strongly encourage Fellows and their guest(s) to take a Lyft/Uber to the hotel once they arrive. Ride costs are estimated to be around $35. Please note rental cars are not encouraged and will not be reimbursed.
