Append Message Tag
The Append Message personalization tag allows you to add personalized messaging while configuring email communications for deployment.
 
The tag will display text entered in the Append Message section of the "Send Email" window in the Report Portal.
 
To configure and use this feature:
1. In Studio, create an email as usual.
 
2. Type or copy and paste the following text where you wish the customized messaging to appear:

3. Save or Publish the program.
When sending the email:
1. Select the records you wish to email, either from a standard report, ad hoc report, or any other method in Lenos.
 
2. Select the email template.
 
3. Below the email's preview image, click the blue Append Message button.
 
4. Enter and format your text as desired and click the Save button.
 
5. Proceed to Send or Schedule the email as usual.
When received, the email will display the customized text in place of the Append Message tag:
IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Emails can be sent or scheduled using the Append Message with different values. Using the example above, you can schedule one instance of the email to go out with "10:30 AM", and another instance of the email to go out with "9:30 AM".
  • Please note you cannot edit the Append Message tag text once an email has been scheduled. If you need to edit this text, cancel the schedule and reschedule as new.
