Brightcove: Publishing a Playlist to the Web
Note: You have uploaded videos to your Video Cloud account. You have created a Manual or Smart playlist.
1. Open the Media module.
2. Select a playlist to publish:
If the playlist appears in the side navigation, click it and then click Publish Playlist.
Click All Playlists in the left navigation menu, select a playlist and then click Publish & Embed > Publish to Web.
3. In the Select Player dropdown list, select a player to use. Player settings will display in the embedded video within Lenos.
4. Click the URL below the preview player to open it in a new browser tab. Confirm that the playlist appears and that the videos can be played.
5. Next, you need to locate your video/stream's link and paste it into the Lenos widget:
From within the Brightcove dashboard, publish your video or stream.
Copy the "Preview in Browser" link that is shown to you after publishing.
Note the Preview in Browser link at the bottom of this image. Additionally, if you are using a Custom Player, be sure to select it from the dropdown at the top.
In Lenos Studio:
1. Paste the video/stream link into the Video URL field within the Brightcove widget's Properties box.
2. Save and Preview your site. The video will now appear on the page.
Helpful Notes
The Lenos Brightcove integration supports all Brightcove "Video On Demand" videos, live streams, and playlists. The "Preview in Browser" link provided for all three of these options can be pasted into the Video URL field within the Lenos widget, and subsequently display on your site.
Brightcove offers customizable "players" that allow you to customize certain video player features such as colors, logos, and control options. Your customizations will display within the embedded Lenos Brightcove widget, assuming that player type is selected when publishing the content in Brightcove.
